Williams College is credited with playing in the first ever intercollegiate baseball game. Williams played Amherst on July 1, 1859. Baseball then much more closely resembled rounders, as the final score was 73-32, won by Williams. Different rules included only 1 out per inning and any part of the field serving as fair territory. Both Williams and Amherst were significant Massachusetts rivals. Honor the game's history with this hat.
