A quintessential aspect of life in the American Southwest and a staple of the Pacific Coast League, the Salt Lake Bees are a team etched into history.
The 1925 was the Bees' final season before owner Bill "Hardpan" Lane moved the team to Los Angeles just in time for the 1926 season. That year, the Bees played their way to a 116-84 record, earning a second place finish. In honor of the historic franchise, Salt Lake City's current minor league team has adopted the Bees name, continuing their rich tradition.
