George Best was once called by Pele, "The best footballer of all time", something Best refers to as "The ultimate salute to my life". After prematurely retiring in 1974 at the age of 27, Best returned in 1977 to play for North American Soccer League team the Los Angeles Aztecs.
Owned in part by Elton John, the Aztecs lasted until 1981 with attendance peaking in 1979 with an average of 14,000 attendants per game. Best scored a total of 27 goals during his time with the club, and paved the way for international soccer stars to bring their talents to the United States.
This Jersey embodies the fighting spirit of Best and is perfect for any collection or wardrobe, as it represents both the city of Los Angeles and an all-time great in George Best. Free shipping and packaging in a premium giftbox is included with purchase.
