For Juventus, the 1984-85 season in the league was a down year. A measly fifth-place finish was a huge disappointment for a Juve fan base that was accustomed to competing every year for the Scudetto. But a down year in the league meant that Juventus could pour all of their focus into the European Cup, a title they had yet to win.

Seven goals by the reigning Ballon d'Or winner Michel Platini carried Juventus to the finals where they would face English and European giants Liverpool. Liverpool were the reigning European and English champions and were a force to be reckoned with in the '80s. Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, Alan Hansen, and Graeme Souness led a team that was near unstoppable at the time. This Juventus team refused to quit however and it would carry them through the final. A penalty would give Platini his seventh goal of the tournament and after a surviving a late-game onslaught from Liverpool the bianconeri were crowned champions of Europe for the first time in their history.

This classic black and white strip became legendary after that night in Brussels. This replica of that classic kit is a perfect addition for any Juventus or football fan. Made in Europe by our partners at Copa and shipped flat rate from our warehouse in the southern United States, this jersey has a legacy that simply can't be denied.
