The TCU Horned Frogs have been playing baseball since 1896, years before they settled the school in Houston. Even though it took more than a hundred years for TCU to come home with a tournament or regional championship, the team caught fire. A member of the South West Conference, the Horned Frogs have brought home eight conference tournament championships, eighteen conference championships, and seven regional championships.
TCU football coaching legend, Dutch Meyer, spent eight years coaching the Horned Frogs baseball team. While better known for his success in football, he helped the team get to its first ever conference championship in 1933.
