Formed in 1909, the Cowboys are one of the winningest teams in the history of college baseball. With 2,513 wins and 1,266 losses, the team has a history that is well acquainted with victory.
Originally the A&M Aggies, the school would begin using the mascot of a Cowboy in 1957. Two years later, the Cowboys would bring home their first (and only) National Championship title. Despite the team's 31 conference championships, 19 conference tournament championships, and 20 College World Series appearances (including seven straight), the title has eluded them since that 1959 season. This cap signifies hope and a willingness to keep fighting.
