In 1947 Jackie Robinson made history after joining the Dodgers at Ebbets Field. Two years later, he was making it again being the first African American to win the National League MVP title.
Robinson remains a household name nearly fifty years after his death in 1972. He distinguished himself as one of the sport’s greats and is also remembered for his contribution to civil rights. Robinson was the first African-American to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
The print depicting the hero was hand framed with 100% natural wood, by local craftsman Chris Oyler of Pelham, Alabama in 2018. The frame is professionally finished with museum grade Kraft paper sized as 14.5"x16.5"x1" and finished with hooks and wire which are attached and ready for your wall.
