In the 1920's, the team was growing and moved to play in Pittsburgh, PA. From 1940 until 1942, the Grays played half of their home games in Washington, D.C. and half in Pittsburgh. This simple and iconic hat was worn by Homestead Gray legends such as Buck Leonard and Josh Gibson.
This vintage baseball cap is styled after the original 1945 Homestead, Pennsylvania Grays baseball cap. The team was founded in 1912 and played continuously for 38 more seasons.
