Throughout history, the Baltimore Orioles have hosted some of baseball's finest. Greats include defensive legend Brooks Robinson, MVP and triple crown winner Frank Robinson, Hall of Famers Jim Palmer and Eddie Murray, along with manager Earl Weaver and "The Iron Man" Cal Ripken Jr. World Series Championships for the Orioles happened in 1966, 1970, and 1983. The team plays their home games at Camden Yards, located in downtown Baltimore.
This cap is modeled after the 1939 Orioles when the team played in the International League. The Orioles we know today moved to Baltimore before the 1954 season, changing their name from the then St. Louis Browns.
