This splendid photographic print of the victorious Cambridge Crew as they enter the water at Surrey Station in the 1930 Boat Race. Held annually, usually around Easter, between the university crews of Oxford and Cambridge. This side by side rowing race takes place in South West London on the River Thames. The course is four miles long and runs between Putney and Chiswick Bridges. The first Race took place at Henley in 1829. Women began racing in 1927.
