Please note this Vintage jersey is not a licensed product, nor is it a playing shirt. It is inspired by the national heroes who have played the wonderful game of Rugby Football for France.
Arriving in France in 1872, Rugby quickly became a favorite of the French people. By 1888, three clubs had made their home in Paris and found active support by fans.
With their first test match on New Years Day, 1906, France had the chance to emerge as a competing force in the international rugby community, but their time would not come yet. France would fall to the All Blacks 38-8 with their second international match (their first ever against England) ending in a similar 31-13 loss.
While France may have started slowly into the scene of International Rugby, their quality has shown to only get greater with time. Clothe yourself in the rich history of this ascent into greatness.
